c. A controller who returns to a facility at which he was rated
after six or more month's absence must complete all phases of the
facility training program (FTP), excluding the facility rating
examination phase, to become requalified.

INDOCTRINATION PHASE TRAINING
a. The indoctrination phase--is the beginning of the FTP for all
newly assigned personnel.
The indoctrination training phase shall
consist of the items listed in Figure 1-1.

PRIMARY-KNOWLEDGE PHASE TRAINING
The primary-knowledge training phase may take place in a
classroom or while the trainee is assigned to a shift.
This phase
teaches the trainee those general subjects necessary to begin at
control positions and culminates with an examination of the FTM,
Chapters 2, 3, and 4.
