no operating control tower. The letter "E" in parentheses following a
facility indicates that the facility has both emergency frequencies
available (VHF 121.5 and UHF 243.0). A (V) indicates VHF frequency 121.5
only is available, and a (U) indicates UHF frequency 243.0 only is
available.
The absence of any of these letters indicates that the
facility does not have communication capabilities on the emergency
frequencies. (The symbol legend for communications data is shown in the
sample entry of the VFR Supplement extract, page 204.)
