FRAME 1
The VFR and IFR Supplements combined constitute an aerodrome
directory of the United States and selected aerodromes in Canada and
Mexico.
Both supplements are classified as en route publications;
however, they are excellent aids for flight planning.

FRAME 24
Item 6 in the sample entry is the location identifier.
A four-
character code indicates an International Civil Aviation Organization
(ICAO) identifier. When the four-character ICAO identifier is shown, the
last three letters are the FAA identifier. For small airports from which
no international flight would be planned, only the three-character FAA
identifier will be shown. The location identifiers identify the airport
and are used by pilots when filing their flight plans. Controllers use
them when filling out their flight progress strips.
At Hog Holler Intl, the airport identifier is shown as KMCC.
KMCC
is the ICAO identifier, and MCC is the FAA identifier.
