approximately 550 pages. It contains an alphabetical directory of IFR
airports or facilities and special notices and procedures required to
support the en route and area charts. The publication cycle is eight

and leaf through its contents.

Item 23 tells you how many JASUs are available at the airport.
Think of the JASU as an aircraft jump-starter. The type of JASU will be
found in parentheses. A numeral preceding the type of unit indicates the
number of units available. For example, 6(MA-1) means there are six MA-1
JASUs available. If no numeral precedes the type of unit, 10 or more
units of that type are available. An example to illustrate this would be
(C-26). Since no numeral precedes the type of unit, at least 10 C-26
units are available.
