Light gun signals are used to communicate in case of radio failure or to direct vehicles on
the movement area. A flashing green light means return for landing to be followed by a
steady green light at the proper time. Remember the differences between a steady green
(cleared to land) and a flashing green (return for landing). (page 1-9, Table 1-1)

A flashing white light is the only signal that is involved with movement on the airport
