The
NAVAID section (item 29) consists of--
a. Radio aids to navigation that have the same name as the radio
facility, airport, or both.
b. Different name radio aids to navigation that are located on the
airport or are used to provide final approach guidance on a published DOD
instrument approval procedure (high or low) serving the airport.
Where VOR test (VOT) facilities are located, the designation VOT
and the frequency will follow the title "NAVAIDS." NAVAID types (item
30) will be shown in the following order: VORTAC, VOR, VOR-DME, TACAN,
UHF NDB, LF/MF NDB, LOM, LMM, and UHF/VHF/DF.
