Turn to Chapter 1, "Index for Aeronautical Information," in the GP
extract. This chapter is used to determine which FLIP contains specific
aeronautical information.
For example, to find information about air
route traffic control center (ARTCC) boundaries, look up the entry
entitled "ARTCC/ACC, boundaries" and read across to the reference code
(EC in this case). On finding the code, look in the index at the top of
the first page and locate its meaning. EC means that information about
ARTCC boundaries can be found in the FLIP en route charts, both low and
high altitudes.
