start, change, stop, or one-time resupply basis. Requests for changes to automatic initial
distribution accounts must be in writing. To request a change in your account, adjust the
quantities shown on the Requirements and Maintenance page of the Annual Survey Form (a
computer-generated form furnished by USAASO to account holders) or submit a

5.
SEASONAL REQUIREMENTS
Users who have a need for DOD FLIPs during certain periods of each year, such as
four to six consecutive months of the year, should identify these requirements to the
appropriate US Army account manager at least six months in advance of the date they are
needed. Examples of seasonal requirements are those of units located in the hurricane area
that need additional coverage for evacuation from 1 June through 30 November of each year.
The requisition should include--
a. The starting and ending date of the seasonal requirement.
b. Specific items and quantities required.
c. The FLIP account number.
d. A statement clearly identifying the additional requirement as a seasonal requirement.
