ONE-TIME MISSION REQUIREMENTS
a. One-time mission requirements for summer training and special missions must be
submitted at least six months in advance when possible. When making a one-time request,
provide the--
(1) FLIP account number.
(2) Date the material is required.
(3) Product and quantity.
(4) Name and telephone numbers (commercial and AUTOVON) of the unit point of
contact.
b. Requests for one-time shipments can be made on an emergency basis, but this can
be costly and product availability is not guaranteed. If products are required for an extended
period in a location separate from a permanent base, a temporary FLIP account may be
established.

Requests may be made by telephone if necessary.

AERO CLUB AUTHORIZATIONS
a. Aero clubs are authorized specific DOD FLIPs and related publications.
These
include--
(1) One to three copies each of en route low altitude charts, terminal low altitude
instrument approach procedures, en route instrument flight rule (IFR) and VFR supplements,
the flight information handbook, and tactical pilotage charts.
(2) One copy each of the general planning guide, area planning charts, and wall
planning charts.
b. DOD FLIPs are limited to those covering the club's geographic area of operation.
Automatic distribution requirements should be established through the local base operations.
8.
DELAYED OR UNDELIVERED SHIPMENTS
Units should receive new publications at least one day before the effective date of the
publications. If new publications have not been received, units should make every effort to find
the delayed or missing shipment on the installation. If the shipment cannot be found, units
should contact the local account manager. The local account manager should contact the
appropriate US Army account manager, by telephone, no later than the effective date of the
new publications to arrange for reshipment. Direct contact with DMACSC is NOT authorized.
