(a) The preceding aircraft has left and passed the intersection or flight path, or it is airborne
and turning to avert any conflict (Figures 2-10 and 2-11).

(b) A preceding arriving aircraft has taxied off the landing runway, has completed landing
roll, and will hold short of the intersection or flight path, or has passed the intersection or flight path
(Figure 2-12).
(2) Where approved by the air traffic manager and according to a facility directive, you may
authorize an aircraft to take off from one runway and another aircraft to land at the same time on an
intersecting runway. You also may authorize an aircraft to land on one runway and another aircraft to
land at the same time on an intersecting runway, as follows:
(a) A takeoff and landing operation at the same time may be conducted only in VFR
conditions between sunrise and sunset.
