e. Use an appropriate clearance symbol followed by a dash (-) and other pertinent information to
clearly show the clearance status of an aircraft. When holding instructions have been included in the
aircraft's original clearance, use the symbol "H" at the clearance limit. Show detailed holding
information following the dash when holding differs from the established pattern for the fix, such as
turns and leg lengths. To indicate delay status, use clearance abbreviations listed in d(1) above. Use the
symbol "F" or "O" to indicate the clearance limit when a delay is not anticipated.
