When the controller issues descent instructions, the aviator will
descend to his MDA. If recommended altitudes were requested, the aviator
will adjust the rate of descent so the aircraft's altitudes correspond
with the altitudes provided by the controller. The aviator must know the
MDA for his particular type of aircraft and the proper weather minimums.
When he sees the runway environment, the aviator will report to the
controller.
