TREATMENT OF SPATIAL DISORIENTATION
Every pilot should understand that spatial disorientation can easily
occur in an aviation environment. If a pilot should experience spatial
disorientation there are several things that he can do to regain his sense
a. Get on the instruments and develop a good cross-check.
b. Do not attempt to fly by using both inside (instrument) and outside
references at the same time.
c. Delay intuitive actions long enough to check instruments or outside
references.
d. Transfer control if there are two pilots in the aircraft.
Seldom
will two pilots experience disorientation at the same time.
